Position: Team Leader
Location: Kampala
We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance.
You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.
Responsibilities
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

Oversee day-to-day operation
Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
Prepare Bi-weekly and monthly portfolio collection progress reports to be forwarded to the firm’s clients.

Requirements
Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
Good Computer skills, especially MS Excel, Word and Email.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Organizational and time-management skills
Decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure.
A Degree/ Diploma or training in team leading is a plus.
Collections Officers
Location: Kampala
We are looking for a collections officers to assist with the collection of outstanding debts. The collections officer will contact clients and inform them of their debts, negotiate payment plans, and ensure payments are made as soon as possible. You may also be required to institute legal action when payments are not made.
To ensure success as a collections officer, you should have excellent communication, negotiation, and mathematical skills, as well as attention to detail. A skilled Collections Officer should be able to hit the company target by encouraging customers to pay their outstanding balances.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing the company debtor list.
Contacting customers and informing them of their outstanding balances and advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.
Handling outsourced debts and meeting collection targets in order to maintain a positive cash flow.
Perform skip tracing activities involving looking for debtors whose whereabouts is unknown.
Advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.
Negotiating suitable payment plans.
Maintaining customer payment records.
Writing final notice warnings to customers when payments are not being made.
Responding to customer queries.
Conduct field visits when required.
Requirements:
Excellent negotiating skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good Computer skills, especially MS Excel, Word and Email.
Integrity, Innovativeness, Excellence, Assertive negotiation skills and ability to assess issues/situations
Decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Relevant work experience in a debt collection environment is an added advantage but not mandatory.
